I love spring and we have been having some ah-mazing nearly summer-like weather with lots of sunshine and warmer-than-usual temps. Nothing lifts my spirits more than open windows, fresh air and no snow. It’s motivation to do-it-yourself (that’s a verb, right?) something pretty, colorful and fun. A spring mantel:
My daughter, Ali, recently scored three canvases at the thrift store for about .79/each. Then, after seeing a peacock triptych here, we decided to try our own peacock feather silhouette using the colors for her planned dining room.

I love banners and enjoy seeing them all over blogland but couldn’t decide what I wanted mine to look like. I knew I wanted it to be “every day” and not seasonal or special occasion. I finally decided on a Love, Eat, Pray theme.
I don’t normally really decorate for Valentine’s Day but when Ashley from Cherished Bliss asked if I wanted to join 14 Days of Love, I just couldn’t resist! I’ve been working hard on a project this past week in hopes of sharing it today.
