Kristen often says that design wouldn’t be a challenge without a budget. What fun would it be to walk into a high end store and say “I’ll take it!” without even so much as glancing at the price tag?

But it’s not nearly as interesting or satisfying when there isn’t a bit of a challenge involved. At least that’s what we tell ourselves when the budget is tight.

Dressing Room Reveal

I had been wanting to give the upstairs guest bedroom some dressing room touches for a while now. We have another guest room on the main floor with it’s own guest bathroom AND we rarely have overnight guests (4 nights in nearly 5 years). I still want it to function as a guest room – it has the most comfy bed and when the girls come over and raid my closet (we share clothes and shoes)…it’s a fun place to hang out and talk style and fashion.
