Who knew that True Value Hardware sold decorative decor? Well, mine actually does sell holiday decorations (and TRAINS!), but this is just about the most simple DIY project ever. Just something I picked up while shopping for another DIY project. It’s got a little industrial character. Just a little creative repurposing that even the most DIY-challenged person (like one who’s brain is already into next week’s vacation)…

Instant Industrial Candle Sticks…
Restoration Hardware price would be ridiculous. True Value Hardware price is less than $10 for a set of 3.

I was one of the bloggers selected by True Value to work on the DIY Squad. I have been compensated for my time commitment to the program as well as my writing about my experience. I have also been compensated for the materials needed for my DIY project. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.

I LOVE this idea!! You know, whenever I have to go to a hardware/home improvement store I find myself trying to look at their 'stuff' through different eyes — you really caught something great with these pipe fittings! I too love them unpainted!
So clever! Have a wonderful vacation …
Thanks for hosting the Holiday DIY party! I'm happy to be linking this week.

I love those woven wood ball things- where do I get those? I need to make some sort of festive centerpiece for my dining table and I was thinking that would be good. Thanks!
Thanks, ladies!
Karen – I can't remember! I've had them for a couple of years and I didn't get them all at once. Maybe check Michael's or Joann's. I do use them year round so definitely getting my money's worth. 🙂
