I’ve been working hard on a project this past week in hopes of sharing it today. However, it’s not quite yet done so stay tuned {hopefully} Monday to see my guest room double as my dressing room along with a fun giveaway! {EDIT: Dressing Room/Closet Organization post here:} If I survive, that is. I must be using muscles I don’t normally use to drill into the studs and to screw into to studs and I am ~~out of shape~~ sore!

Quick and Easy Burlap Art

With the holidays, quick and easy DIY ideas are my best friend, especially when they’re great gift ideas too.

Materials:

Canvas Corp. pre-made stretched burlap
Sharpie/permanent marker (I love the “Stained” by Sharpie for fabric)
Optional: embellishments and hot glue

HOW TO:

Using a stencil or free hand, make monogrammed art work (or silhouette or anything) using a permanent marker on the pre-made burlap wrapped canvas.

It doesn’t get any easier than that! I love how it looks old/faded…
