First Floor Guest Bedroom: (THIS IS THE BEFORE.)

My desk is a farmhouse style table and I sewed a table skirt to hide the wires and computer hardware:
Here’s my chandelier too:
NOW (after) it’s a guest room! See the full reveal HERE.
Stripped of everything shown above:
Now after painting the floor, installing new baseboard trim, painting and mostly all thrift store, flea market and junk store finds:
painted guest bedroom floor meets painted guest bathroom floor

This is one of the most beautiful rooms I’ve seen, and the painted rug is stunning! Where on earth can a find a stencil to create the one of my own?
Awe! Thanks so so much, Deborah! I got my stencil from http://www.cuttingedgestencils.com/. Good luck!!!
Thanks, Roeshel! Found it! I’m so looking forward to having this beautiful pattern underfoot in my bedroom. May I also ask about your bed linens? The soft pattern and muted colors of the shams and duvet are just lovely.
Good thoughts!

Absolutely gorgeous! I LOVE the wall color! It’s the shade I’ve been dreaming of painting our master bedroom! Do you remember what brand/color it is? Thanks so much for sharing your inspiring ideas! 🙂
Thanks, Liz. Actually, I don’t remember – because I had to mix some paints to alter the original color which was too blue – I added some dark turquoise/aqua to adjust it. The pictures look very similar to our powder room though which is Benjamin Moore “smoke”. Sorry I can’t be of more help on this one!
No problem! It is so hard to find the right shade of blue! I appreciate your help! Your blog is such an inspiration! Thank you! 🙂
