Thanks for stopping by and joining the party on a weekly basis. I can’t tell you how much it means to me with all of the amazing parties going on. I hope that the DIY Project Parade is an event which introduces you to new friends and a place to find the latest DIY inspiration from some awesome DIY talent.

Cassie from Primitive & Proper shares a couple of sweet updates. One on a special little girl, Cora, who could use our continued thoughts and prayers and another on her beautiful living room updates.

Laura from Top This Top That shares her super fun media room filled with so many sweet DIY accents! Imagine having a movie theater in your home?! (Maybe you do, but I don’t … yet and Laura’s is such great inspiration!)

Bridgette from Osie Moats shares a sneak peak of her beautiful cottage dining room. Dreamy!

Missy from Lookie What I Did has one gorgeous laundry room reveal! I’d share every image but I think it’s best if you visit her for more pictures, storage ideas and links to several awesome DIY details. Wow!

I love when creative, easy DIY makes a HUGE statement, especially when it turns out to look like something from a gallery. That’s what you’ll find this past week from Jessica at Stay at Home-ista: linen and paper DIY art! Wow!

FAVORITE FAB DIY FURNITURE

Jen from The House of Wood is soooo good at building furniture. I love her most recent: how to build the perfect end table. Love the shape!

I’m including this under “furniture” because that’s what I consider a headboard, don’t you? How fabulous is this picture frame headboard from Remodelando la Casa? Cristina shares how to make a this unique picture frame headboard.

FAVORITE CRAFTS

Kelly at Live.Laugh.Rowe always has the cutest projects and this past week was no exception when Kelly shared her painted drop cloth soap wraps. Counting down the days to filling stockings? This is a sweet idea!

Have I told you lately how much I love it when you stop by? With traveling to the apartment for renovating, I feel like I miss so much…not being able to sit in front of the computer. DIY Project Parade Highlights – Room Reveal Round UP

One of my favorite type of links in the DIY Project Parade is when someone shares a room reveal I might have otherwise missed. Here are some awesome room makeovers definitely worth a look:

Jessie at Imperfectly Polished shared her master bathroom before and a look at the gorgeous reveal.

I am loving the patio made from old doors at Shabby Love! She took an inspiration picture and created a beautiful version for herself. I believe this counts as a room reveal. Wow!

Did you see the beautiful porch ceiling at Not Just a Housewife? Stacy shows us how to create/paint a harlequin patterned ceiling with a great tutorial.

Brooke from Design Stash shared her pretty cottage living room makeover. I love her attention to detail and the transformation from before to after is a breath of fresh air. Beautiful job!

No budget for a new backsplash? Miranda from Pressing On shares my love of stencils {the impact adding design can make} – and created an awesome stenciled chevron backsplash. How beautiful is this?…

Cassie at Primitive and Proper shares her gorgeous master bedroom makeover. I love her comfortable style, mixing vintage and antique with beautiful navy and gold colors. Eclectic elegance…

I think these master bedroom makeovers are so inspiring. (It’s on our list of things to do!) and the colors, texture, pattern and accents that Lisa from Diary of a {Wannabe} Domestic Diva are so soothing and pretty!

I love a good before and after and the family room makeover at Totally Lauren Amber is just that – boring before with a beautiful transformation with so many details and so much to see! Gorgeous!

DIY Project Parade and Highlights – Part 2

Hello, DIY friends! There are so many amazing links each week. I’m trying to figure out how to include the highlights (please bear with me). I think some weeks, a few different Highlight posts throughout the week will be a great idea to get your creativity and inspiration noticed even more! One area that is really neglected in our home this year is the porch. With a summer passing by as we renovate the apartment, I’m longing to relax on this beautiful southern porch over at Dixie Delights. Dreamy!

Couldn’t you just run to the next yard sale to see if you can find something this amazing? I love Amy’s {Blissful Bee} vision and the before/after transformation is stunning. What a beautiful settee makeover!

I love that Miss Charming painted the wood on her chairs and the impact was instant updating and WOW! They look fabulous with her new chalkboard wall and pretty white frames. See more at Charming Zebra.

An organized and pretty welcoming entryway is something I’ve always longed for. Jenn at Clean and Scentsible shares her inspiring tips and beautiful styling:

I love old windows. We have a few more around here somewhere and this idea from Number Fifty Three is a great way to create wall old window wall art.

Debbie at Visual Eye Candy shares tips and a tutorial for a herringbone tiled floor. It looks amazing!
