Hello, DIY friends! One of the reasons for the name “DIY Show Off” is not only to share my own DIY projects but to encourage others to give DIY a try as well as showcase creative DIY bloggers and their amazing DIY ideas in a weekly party over the years. This also includes pinning nearly every link for even more sharing. So welcome once again to THAT DIY PARTY!
DIY Show Off Weekly Recap: This week’s DIYShowOff posts included a giant LCR dice game tutorial. So much fun!
and a round up of favorite projects over here at DIYShowOff and an introduction/welcome to some friends stopping by from a feature in a local home improvement newspaper article. Remember the house numbered flower pots?
and I featured some awesome patriotic DIY highlights (link up yours below to be pinned to the DIY Patriotic Ideas pinboard).
SHOWING OFF: It’s my favorite time of the week, seeing YOUR creativity! Here are some highlights from last week’s DIY party for some summer time DIY inspiration.
~Awesome Rooms~
Wow! Love the red mirror on that awesome bold chevron accent wall at Two Zero One. Don’t you?
Lauren’s stunning entryway makeover at It’s Not Baroque sports the same idea. Bold black and white stenciled walls, red mirror.
Pop over and check out a beautiful DIY filled home office at Meredith & the New Yorkie … and celebrate her good news while your’e there! Congratulations, Meredith!
~Fab Furniture~
There’s a gorgeous green and gold Ikea Malm hack at My DIY Habits. Love the handles and gold accent. Great combo!
~Amazing Accents~
I love love love the ridiculously easy no sew blinds at Charming Zebra. Miss Charming, these have been added to my to-do list. Thankyouverymuch! 😉
I love the simplicity of this wire art display at Liz Marie Blog. Quiet and pretty.
A DIY no-sew window seat cushion at Christina’s Adventures. I would never have considered doing it this way…what a great idea, Christina!
Aimee’s faux vintage whale species chart and RH inspired fishing weights at Twigg Studios are definitely worth checking out. Beautiful and inspiring!
In an old house, sometimes door stops come in handy. And yes, all 3 of mine are cast iron. And yes, I’ve stubbed my toes a few times. So when I saw these super sweet, soft door stops at The North End Loft, they were added to my must-do project list. Thanks, Laurel!
~Outdoor Projects~
Jenny turns an old credenza into a WOW! outdoor serving area. See her tips for making furniture outdoor-weather resistant at Day of Chalk and Chocolate.
And how clever is this potting bench / serving piece at All Things Heart and Home? I love the dual purpose!
Tammy shares two great outdoor DIY ideas at One More Time Events:
lamp turned outdoor decor
DIY built in patio table wine cooler
