I love banners and enjoy seeing them all over blogland but couldn’t decide what I wanted mine to look like. I knew I wanted it to be “every day” and not seasonal or special occasion. I finally decided on a Love, Eat, Pray theme.
Materials I used:
- Canvas Corp. Burlap Minis {4}
- Canvas Corp. Canvas Shapes {5}
- Deco Art Americana {black}
- Deco Art Number Stencils
- Clock Stencils {from scrapbooking store}
- Foam brush {Rockler}
- Sharpie permanent marker or fabric Stain marker {black}
- Letter stamps and ink.
- Twine
- Hot glue/gun
On the four Canvas Corp. burlap minis, I wrote “T”, “I”, “M”, “E” using a Sharpie. Next using a foam brush with Deco Art Americana in black and stenciling directly onto Canvas Corp. canvas shapes (triangles) using Deco Art’s number stencils (I used number “2”…love these stencils 0-9. They’re a great size and are going to get so much use!) and various clock stencils. I stamped the words “love”, “eat” and “pray” on a three out of the five canvas shapes.
I laid out my five canvas shapes with “love”, “eat {2}” and “pray” as the center three. In between, I used the four burlap minis spelling “t-i-m-e”. Using hot glue, I attached each banner triangle to twine, measuring a distance of 3 inches between each and tying a loop for hanging on the ends.
Each banner triangle has it’s own character…
Sweet reminder at dinner time to “pray, love & eat” and it looks cute too, don’t you think? 🙂

Thanks Again, Roeshel, for the link up! Your house always looks terrific. I love the rustic touches very much! Hey, I was wondering…forgive me if I missed it…is there a way to get my linky follower to stay a smaller box like yours or will it continue to grow with my followers? Not that that is bad!!!!
Thanks,
Sherry
Thanks, Sherry! I emailed you too but here’s what to do: Go into the html code on your site for the Linky Follower widget. Change the number “64” to whatever you want….smaller number or larger number. Play around with the number until you get a size you like. Hope that helps! 🙂
