There have been some awesome ideas linked up to the DIY Project Parade these past few weeks and since I’m hosting Easter for my family this year, I’m ready to put together a plan. Here are some creative last minute ideas I’m loving:

I’m taking a small break from family room painting to do some crafty fun today. I love tissue paper poufs but hanging them doesn’t always fit with my decorating. This is a great alternative and perfect for spring.
I love spring and we have been having some ah-mazing nearly summer-like weather with lots of sunshine and warmer-than-usual temps. Nothing lifts my spirits more than open windows, fresh air and no snow. It’s motivation to do-it-yourself (that’s a verb, right?) something pretty, colorful and fun. A spring mantel:
