DIY Friends and Following + Something New!

Hellooooo DIY friends! I’m sure you’ve heard by now that Google Friend Connect is going away for WordPress blogs and know that I recently made the switch from Blogger to WordPress to clean things up around here. Change is scary to begin with and having change affect my readers breaks my heart. Thankfully there are other options in order to stay up-to-date!

My transition to WordPress

For a long time, I resisted making the transition from Blogger to WordPress. Then when I started having issues with Blogger, I made up my mind to do it. However, as you know, I’m technically challenged. Sure, I’ve been blogging for 4+ years, but that doesn’t mean I’m confident with my limited html skills. With the help of Brent, all of my posts were transferred. Nothing was lost.  Relief!  Well, except that I was lost.  Now what?
