Cheri (It’s So Very Cheri) and I both pestered kindly suggested to Brent (the creative genius behind Linky Tools and the new Linky Followers) that we were a teensy bit panicked over the Google Friend Connect abandonment and something fun to take it’s place was needed. We rounded up some friends to join a test group and helped to work on the best new follow tool which we announced yesterday.
Hellooooo DIY friends! I’m sure you’ve heard by now that Google Friend Connect is going away for WordPress blogs and know that I recently made the switch from Blogger to WordPress to clean things up around here. Change is scary to begin with and having change affect my readers breaks my heart. Thankfully there are other options in order to stay up-to-date!

I received an interesting email this week (maybe you did too) with some information I’d like to pass along since DIY Show Off friends are some of the most talented crafters I know! Yes – that’s you!
