Everybody! It’s time to party! Have a project that took some thought, hard work, sweat, blood, tears? Break a nail? Make a mess? Be proud! SHOW it OFF!
DIY Show Off Recap: I have something to show off from earlier in the week. My free-standing (moveable) vertical pallet herb garden. By far one of my favorite DIY projects this year. Looks so pretty, smells delicious and tastes so good. A great addition to the patio and conveniently located near the kitchen door.
Last week’s DIY party was filled with some awesome DIY. Here are some amazing highlights. (*Reminder: Please pin from the original source links included below.)
Beautiful Rooms
Ready to drool? I could live in this space! It’s the sweetest barn reveal at Pudel Design…you have to check out all of the fabulous details. Dreamy and inspiring to get our barn patio cleaned up for the summer.
As I catch up on laundry in my horrible awful no good laundry room today, I’m so envious of Kathryn’s gorgeous laundry room. She shared her amazing before and after laundry room reveal at The Dedicated House. So.inspiring. There’s hope for me yet!
Fab Furniture
I love everything that Julia completes and her beautiful mid-century modern dresser makeover at Cuckoo 4 Design is stunning accent in her beautiful room…
The same goes for Anu. Something as simple as giving a set of stools a fresh new look in shade of mint is a brilliant way to add some color and interest to otherwise overlooked functional accent pieces…
shades of mint stool set at Nalle’s House
Don’t you just loooove a fun room accent. Talk about a conversation piece. Susan’s first aid foot locker at HomeRoad has a beautiful new finish and even casters! Love it! Don’t you?
Can you believe Shannon only paid $5 for this table? See the awesome before and after table transformation at Fox Hollow Cottage. I think I need to plan a shopping trip. Shannon?
Kathy has some awesome furniture rehab skills! Love the gorgeous blue and white, stenciled numbers…every detail. See the full beach inspired dresser makeover at Petticoat Junction.
Isn’t this the sweetest little toddler bed? Awe! It’s darling! See the Restoration Hardware knock off toddler bed tutorial at The House of Wood.
I love the mismatched chairs and this cute map top table at Paper Daisy Designs. So eclectic and fun, Leslie!
Tips & Tricks
Cristina at Remodelando la Casa has great tips for lengthening curtains…I’ve done this with my living room curtains which needed a good 12″. I just purchased one extra panel to do the job. Works like a charm!
A great way to make cute labels using Picmonkey at Bles-ID by Julia. Adorable!
Ugh. I hate when rattan furniture unravels, don’t you? Makes you want to pitch it or bury it deep in the back of the garage. Thankfully, Jo-Anna from A Pretty Life saves the day and shares a great tip for fixing outdoor rattan furniture. Amazing!
Amazing Accents
Ceiling lights are like room jewelry and Chaney sure knows how to accessorize! Her wood shim pendant at May Richer Fuller Be is so cute!

Roeshel,
I’m link 123, but my picture won’t show up. I can’t get the link to delete so I can try again, could you delete it for me? Sorry to bother you!

No problem, Sarah! I’ve deleted it. I can never get my pictures to show either and always have to upload from my computer. It must have something to do with settings on my blog. Hope that helps! 🙂
