I recently had the opportunity to try my choice of vinyl from Wallums. Wall’ums is a San Francisco based company specializing in 100% removable, unique and custom wall decals.

Wallums can be applied directly to a wall or furniture, but you know my addiction for re-arranging, re-decorating and moving things around so I like the option of using my Wallum vinyl to make a DIY bath sign. I chose the “Bath 5 cents” decal.

I cut, sanded and stained a piece of scrap wood. I sanded after staining for a little distressing/worn look.

Next, following the simple Wallum instructions, I started to apply the decal by pulling off the waxpaper cover.

Line up the decal onto the wood and smooth into place. Once in place, rub to secure using the Wallums tool (provided with order).

Pull up the tacky paper (if vinyl pulls up, re-apply paper and rub again).

I hung my sign using Command velcro strips.

ta-da!
