When I first saw this beautiful reveal, the little girl {even the older girl} in me loved every detail. I can’t even imagine sharing a room with 3 siblings but if I did, this would be a dream come true:
Meet: Shannon from
And meet the beautiful room that four Googie girls share, designed and decorated by DIY mom and dad…
The built in beds are awesome. Fun and private!
The curtains close for privacy!
How about the bedding Shannon made? Gorgeous!
I love this:
The Malms Ikea dressers on a platform are a fun ‘built-in’ option:
More clothes storage in the closet area:
Chandeliers with a little bling on one super fabulous ceiling:
Isn’t it awesome? See all of the details, including links to specific projects throughout the room, and more pictures at Googie Momma.
You’ll want to check out things she’s made and how to make things like she does.
This is gorgeous! I want this for my room! 🙂
What a beautiful room! I LOVE the striped ceiling and the bunks!
How wonderful…what a great use of space and sooooo stylish too!!

Beautiful!
Those bunkbeds are incredible — love the staircase getting to the top bunks! One of the most innovative use of space I’ve seen in ages!
Wow — this is fantastic! The staircase to the upper bunks is so much safer than the ladders or climbing up over the ends of the bunks — Mom and Dad get easier access, too! Super clever, innovative and absolutely adorable!
Love it, and the colors combos are amazing!

Good on them for thinking of this. It’s amazing. I wouldn’t want to have to share a room with 3 other girls, but if I did, I wouldn’t mind this one.
WOW! I can’t get over how amazing those beds are. And that built in dresser. Insane!
That’s got to be a crazy room! She did a great job of making it look fabulous!
This is FANTASTIC! We don’t have kids (yet), but room availability is already sort of an issue. Bunk beds might be the solution…
holy cow!!!!!!! that is amazing!
Beautiful! It ALMOST makes me want to have another kid so they could all share a room like this! 🙂
Love it! I just wish we had a room big enough to do something like this! The bed and stairs along with the stripes are my favorite!
thanks everyone! the kids all love it (even the lonely boy–the only person in the house who doesn’t have to share a room, and he’s jealous!!!)
it was a hard, but very rewarding project.
and thanks roeshel for the feature today! 😉

I’m in love! This room is incredible! I want one for myself! Thanks for sharing it off and connecting us to her!
Do you have plans for these loft bunk beds? We are getting ready to have both my daughter and step-daughter in one room and need a creative way to make them excited about it. haha! Can you please email these to me if you have plans. thank you! sac1999@hotmail.com
Hi Sara! I love this built in bunk bed too. I featured them from Googie Momma. Here is the link to her original post (which shares links to the construction in parts) and I’m sure she would be happy to answer your questions! Good luck!!! http://googiemomma.blogspot.com/2012/01/girls-room-part-iv-reveal.html
