It’s been a week and I can’t wait to see what you’ve been DIY-ing! This week, I created an acid-look vintage window mirror using an old window, Krylon Looking Glass Mirror-Like paint, Gorilla Glue and left over fabric. Super easy!
1. It seems there is rumor that Krylon was going to discontinue Looking Glass paint. Myth! Krylon states there is no plan to discontinue Looking Glass paint.
2. They also said that the main retailer for the looking glass is Michaels. I would also try other crafting stores. The product rep gave me this Web site as well. They said they usually refer people to it to find more products:

4.If you notice your link has disappeared -please add the link back to The DIY Show Off to your post today, a button or a quick note to your readers about the party and try again! Oh, my, this is LOVELY! I saw an old window the other day and debated whether or not to purchase it and now I wish I had!!
I am going to keep this in mind next time I find an old window!!!
Thank you so much for hosting! I love the window, the paint was such a great idea!
The link that you gave for the DIY club tutorial on this is a link for the photo and not the tutorial. I would really like to see how you did this and the other pics. Will look and see if I can find on the blog.
Sorry about that Boom – thanks for the head's up. I've fixed the link. Slow crazy computer today. Copies when it feels like it. Grrr! 🙂
I love love love old window frames. I have 2 inside my house that I to use as mirrors. I didn't refinish them though as I loved the look of the old broke down paint:)
I love love love old window frames. I have two inside my house that my dad and I changed over to mirrors:) I decided not to paint them but left them oh natural, I loved the look of the broke down paint!
That vintage window mirror is beautiful. Thanks for the tutorial… I'm headed over to that link right now!
Wow! Great fix for an old window. It looks great!!! Someone said that they are not going to make the Krylon mirror paint anymore? How awful is THAT!?! Diana
That turned out fantastic! Thanks for hosting your party. I have made a moderate return to blog land, and of course joining one of my favorite parties and blog!
I love this!!!
It looks awesome, I love the reflection!
Fantastic job! It is beautiful!
The window is beautiful and I love what you've done to it. Thanks for hosting another fun party.
Love love love!!!
very pretty! I love it!
that is so so lovely! You've done a fantastic job!! You make these DIYs look really really simple!!
Ohhhh, just lovely! You do so many cool things and this is at the top of my list.
I love this idea. I have 2 identical window frames, so I think I will do what you did and hang them over opposite sides of the couch. Thanks for hosting such a creative party.
I have something almost exactly like this in my living room – will post pics, my father had the windo frame and we found a piece of mirror large enough for $3 at a garage sale. So cheap and brightens up any room! New to blogspot. would love followers! Check out my blog – have a fabulous monday 🙂
Looks great! We were given a window just like this and we were trying to figure out how to cut mirrors to fit. We might steal this trick!
LOVE the look! Thanks for sharing and hosting the party! Linking up now and can't wait to see the others!!
I know I'm suppose to be looking at the mirror you made, which is gorgeous as usual. But I LOVE those little stands the pumpkins are on. Where'd you get those? Are those cupcake stands, candlesticks?
I really love how this turned out. I think I might need to head over to the Renovation Station to find a window and try this.
Roeshel… you know you totally make my day.. when you link these to the Weekend Wrap up party… thanks so so much.. You are a sweetie!
Awesome post. Really enjoyed reading your blog posts.
I love this idea. I love mirrors but would like to change it up so it doesn't look to redundant (I already have a mirror in each room.)
