Some of our super talented blog friends are showing off their fabulous furniture DIY projects today. Be sure to visit each amazing blog for the original post.
Kristin from Simply Klassic Home: Being a single mom for a large part of my life, I can appreciate Kristin’s creativity when it comes to creating a beautiful home on a single mom’s budget. The dresser before was sort of ordinary.
and the awesome after has tons of rustic charm…
Sachiko from Tea Rose Home found an Ethan Allen chair at the thrift store, not her favorite color combination…
but a little DIY attention and now it’s darling…with beautiful fabrics and hand quilted cushions.
Live from B5: One of my favorite DIY projects is transforming an old table into an ottoman and Melanie did an amazing job!
NOW: upholstered ottoman with nailhead trim
House of 34 – BUILT this pretty console/entryway table. Don’t you love those spindly legs and beautiful stained top?
Hello Boudreau: This bar cart before was nothing special…
Namely Original: Great idea! Good solid furniture with wood trim not the right color, gets a makeover using gel stain. Beautiful rich tone, instant update and matches the other wood tones in the living room.
Upcycle Addict: An old table top is transformed into a large clock for a fraction of the price of a brand new one with similar large dimensions. Easy DIY & BIG impact!
and here are a few of my past furniture makeover projects…

I just love a good before and after. That old ugly chunky coffee table, I would have never guessed it turned into that gorgeous ottoman!
I just love all the transformations but my favorite is the outdated coffee table turned ottoman. Wow!
That bar cart is phenomenal! 🙂
Oh there are some REALLY great transformations here. Thank you so much for sharing these with us!

Okay I fell in love with the table turned into an ottoman. I am currently looking for a new ottoman and I am seriously considering doing this as a DIY project.
Before and Afters are so fun. You’ve done some of my faves! I love the painted chair upholstery…they remind me of some darling chairs I saw in Serena & Lilly that were way out of my price range 😉 That first rustic dresser re-do is pretty fab too!
Thank you for featuring my console table! How awesome to be included in all the beautiful furniture makeovers!
Roechel, thanks so much for the shout out for my clock….. It’s awesome to see work Iv’e done featured on someone else’s blog. I admire yours so much so to have you highlight something that iv’e done is such a an honor. 🙂
I love looking at before and after pictures. That ottoman is awesome!
Oh, I love the dresser makeover and the ottoman. (So very clever!)
I must say, Roeshel, that I enjoy looking at all your personal photographs. Not only do you have creative DIY projects, but your styling of each photograph is always so interesting and beautiful. Wonderful job!
Love the clock and the ottoman ( Awesome)
I love before and after pictures, especially for stunning makeovers. I follow you via GFC. I host a weekly party that starts at 6:00pm every Tuesday called Fluster’s Creative Muster Party. I would love for you to stop by and share your talent and creativity.
