Freckles Chick – Nursery Reveal

The last I ‘talked’ to Freckles Chick, she was awaiting the {late} impending arrival of her baby girl.  That was last week, so I’m hoping that as of today, she’s holding her precious princess in her arms and back home putting this beautiful nursery to good use.

It all started with putting together a mood board

Room before:

Lighter neutral walls are the perfect backdrop for the white furniture and pretty blooming branch.

Dresser before:
Becomes a beautiful changing table…
Some DIY wall art…

A favorite poem (I Carry Your Heart With Me by E.E. Cummings) that I’ve been reading aloud to the Peanut.

  1. What a tremendous makeover. Baby will love it. I especially liked the work you did on the walls and on the chest of drawers. I've done several of those myself. It's very satisfying.

  2. So perfect!! It is happy and serene but still chic. Love it!! Did you paint the branch? I'm attempting one in my youngest's room soon. Love that look!

  3. THANK YOU, Roeshel, for so sweetly featuring our Peanut's nursery!! I'm such a fan of The DIY Show Off & this is such an honor. =]

(I WISH our little lady had made her debut by now, haha! I'm actually getting induced today!)

@ Jenny: The branch is a wall decal from etsy (link provided in the source list at the end of my Nursery Reveal post). I wish I had the talent to draw such a thing!

A warm thank you to everyone for their kind comments & for dropping by!
