Hellooooo, dear DIY friends! It’s hard to believe another week has flown by. I’m feeling a bit of a withdrawal from DIY and fixin’ to change that this week by digging into some DIY at last!
This past week at DIY Show Off:
You know I love me some Rust-Oleum for transforming old and ulgy into “new”. I the pleasure of attending a Rust-Oleum blogger event in Charlotte, NC with the fun opportunity to learn about and try some awesome products, make some super interesting new friends from Rust-Oleum and Lowe’s and met some of my amazing blog friends. I’ll be sharing more about what I learned, who was there, what we did and what I made as soon as it’s delivered. I can’t wait!
I also shared some unbelievable furniture before and after project submissions – so inspiring for some pre-yardsale motivation.
As you may have noticed, I re-arranged the blog too. Again. Re-arranging. A DIY girl’s addiction, right? A fresh new header (I think I’ll keep this one for a while)…

and features {still adding in a few more categories}…
And the favorite part of my week: visiting YOU and seeing your latest DIY, even when it takes me over 4 hours and I’m still in my pajamas at 4 p.m. in the afternoon on a Saturday. Nothing like getting cozy with a laptop and accepting your invitation to see what you’ve been doing. Check out these crazy creative DIY projects…
Kristin at Simply Klassic Home is getting to be a wood plank pro. She has a beautiful way of making a touch of rustic and industrial look amazing in her home. Her latest DIY is her Star Wars themed wood plank headboard. Awesome! You can also see the full boy’s bedroom reveal!
Holy – wow! An amazing bathroom makeover from 1980s to awesome at The Kim Six Fix. Dreamy.
Angela from Number Fifty Three shares how to add texture and pattern to your decor. This girl knows what she’s talking about…and she’s not suggesting you add a cat. ;
Marji Roy from Ashbee Design always has a creative idea or two or 100 and this past week, I looooove her rustic wood slice decor. I’ll be sneaking pieces from our wood pile. Don’t tell Mr. DIY.
Emily from On the V Side shares a guest room redo before and after. It’s now a happy cozy retreat filled with personality.
Chaney from May Richer Fuller Be shares a great tutorial on how to upholster a desk top. Yes, you heard me correctly. It’s a great low cost DIY with gorgeous results…
Kathleen from Between Blue and Yellow just inspired me BIG TIME. I want a library. I need a library. One with beautiful finds and lots of books. I love every detail in her library makeover ‘after’…I’d snuggle up on that darling sofa with a good book and never leave this room.
Debbie from the Inspired Honey Bee went all out and created a beautiful Valentine’s Day display with her sweet Valentine gallery wall. Love. Love. Love.
I love these sweet twig Valentines over at Ashbee Design, don’t you? Pop over to see where she displays them. Love that too!
