Hello, DIY friends! Today is the start of a new week of DIY project links. I’m so happy you’re here and can’t wait to see what you share.
This past week, we finished giving the apartment’s old laminate countertops a fresh new look using Rustoleum’s Countertop Transformations – a great way to rescue a stained/scratched countertop without removing it, measuring, cutting and installing new. Love the result!
I also shared a “how to make a bean bag toss scoreboard“. Bean bag toss is an outdoor game played by our family and who want’s to keep score in their head when there’s so much summer fun going on?
I always want to highlight all 200+ links. Seriously, you all are so amazing and I love seeing your creativity! Here are a few ideas and projects you may have missed last week. I will be including the DIY Project Parade linky party to a couple of posts this week. I’ve had a busy productive week and need more time to catch up!
DIY Highlights Part 1
Have you seen Anne’s {Design Dreams} gorgeous $5 door headboard? I love it! I swear. Between this beautiful idea and gorgeous upholstered headboards, I’m going to repurpose my sleigh bed into a boat so I can make a pretty headboard!
Oh wow! You know my love for painted floors, don’t you? Well did you see the gorgeous painted kitchen floor at Sugar and Spice? A beautiful painted and glazed diamond pattern…
Kathy from All About Vignettes is redoing her daughter’s bedroom and I’m in love with the subtle peacock theme and gallery wall. I can’t wait to see more!
Becky from Organizing Made Fun always has awesome storage and organization solutions. This past week she shared tips for getting your shed and potting bench organized. This would be heaven in our home where tools – home improvement and gardening are scattered in the barn, throughout the house, in the basement…you get the idea. I wonder if Becky does house calls?
Yesterday, I revealed how neglected our own house can get when life gets busy and shared a picture of how I look when I’m stopping by to visit you – it’s not a pretty sight but it’s so easy to think everyone is all dressed up surrounded by a spotless perfect home and the truth is…life isn’t perfect and my dark circles are not glamorous. Real life.
Let’s see what you’ve been up to. I’ll be visiting, pinning, tweeting and sharing links on Facebook this week!
Leave a link, visit a link – Pajamas welcome. 🙂 Make sure to stop back for more highlights!
