I‘ve gotten quite a few questions regarding old/vintage windows. Here are some ideas I was able to find online:
- Pot rack
- Bed canopy
- Drying rack
- Chalkboard
- Frames
- Table
- Shelf
- Memo board
- Display
- Cabinet
- Greenhouse
- Mirror
- Shadow box
- Flower box
- Sign
- Sconce
- Divider
I have some in my house and they are mainly used in decorating/on display at this time (saving some of these genius ideas for future DIY!)
Chalkboard paint makes this old window a message center at our barn patio!
Also at the barn patio, this old window paired with an old crate makes an fun end table:
I plan on doing these windows on the wall in our dining room makeover but for right now, I love looking at them here.
And this one in the back entryway. I plan on using chalk board paint on another one I have that looks just like this to use as a weekly planner. Whoa! While looking for some ideas I came across a video tutorial for the chalkboard planner at BHG. Click here to see it. 🙂
So, I set out to find some other ideas and hit the jackpot! So many beautiful window projects! Here are a few. Click the links for more information, tutorials and inspiration!
