2nd Annual DIY Show Off Holiday Highlights and a Giveaway!

I know it’s early for most, but I have the holidays on my mind.  I’m not the only one, am I? It’s okay if the party is small…but I’m ready to see some holiday inpiration. How about you?  And if it’s non existent this early and there are no links, here’s a holiday giveaway to get us in the holiday mood. 

 

I recently met Nanci from Willow House.  She’s so sweet and she has a blog full of beautiful inspiration using products from Willow House.  She has some great tips for holiday entertaining and decorating to start off the Holiday Highlights party:

 
We are close upon the holiday season where there is many festive gatherings.  When I take the time to cook and entertain, I put a lot of effort into what I do.  Have you ever taken food to a party just waiting to see if party goers like what you made? What about the presentation?  A pretty dish can make even the not so yummy food look good!

Creating a tablescape is both fun and personable.  When deciding a color theme, medium, or textures, make sure it suits your style.  What do you love about these pictures? Is it the varying heights, the stylistic pieces, the colors, textures?
 

When I create, I usually have to see some ideas of what others’ have done, tweak it to fit my taste, and go to work. 

 
 
What I love about Willow House is that I can “copy” ideas from our talented staff and tweak it to my tastes.  If you have staple pieces, you can maximize your creativity.  I also glean ideas from my customers and hostesses!  ~Nanci
