I received a letter and pictures from one of my readers about her beautiful nursery transformation. I love the orange bedding, the beautiful rug , gorgeous curtains and neutral wall and floor color. Here is her letter:
My husband and our family transformed our small office into a nursery for our twin sons.
They ripped out old carpeting, replaced and repaired bead board, chair railing, base boards, moulding and doors and windows and add crown moulding. They also painted the wood floors a high gloss blue.
We wanted an orange nursery, which we could not find bedding anywhere. My mother in law made the bedding and the curtains. We used my existing teak furniture, painted a bookcase, bought cribs from Walmart, a chair from nursery works and rug from West Elm. We used neutral colors on the walls so the furniture and bedding could be the focus. ~Shannon

In other related baby news (no – not that, not me!), I‘ve been taking monthly photos of my nephew and photos of my niece and wanted to share them with you because they are adorable and it’s another one of my DIY hobbies. I have the cutest photography practice models! These ones are my favorites. 🙂 This one was taken lying on a blanket in the grass in the yard.
And this one was taken on the barn patio.
