O’Christmas tree, O’Christmas tree….I’ve just finished decorating 3 or 4. If you celebrate Christmas, more than likely you decorate an evergreen tree (real or artificial) with ornaments, lights, garland, odds and ends, handmade or store-bought. It’s a Christmas tradition in our home. Throughout the day, the Christmas tree stops me in my tracks. It’s a moment when I’m reminded to Rejoice! I’m celebrating the birth of my savior.
When the days are short and evening arrives early, there’s just something happy about twinkly lights on a Christmas tree that lifts my spirits and warms my heart this time of year.
I love so many different styles and our home reflects my indecision…I mean: appreciation for a variety of decorating styles. Here is a look at the trees in the DIY Show Off home:
Traditional with red and gold in the living room:
Fun ombrè in the family room:
And vintage, natural and burlap in the dining room:

Is anyone else having problems linking up? I’ve included the button with backlink into my post and it is saying that it isn’t there when I try to link up, but it is. Just wondering?
Hi Luisa, no…I’m sorry it doesn’t seem to be working for you. Did you add the short link I provided? If you can’t get it to work, send over the info and I’ll see if I can get it loaded for you.
Figured it out! Thank you so much!
What a fun party, Roeshel! Thanks so much! I just posted my house tour and in it I literally said that my tree will never win any contests…it is just haphazardly stuffed with all of our treasured family ornaments! Ha! I linked up anyway, it’s always fun to look everyone else’s gorgeous trees, including yours! Merry Christmas!

Christmas Trees are like people, different in too many ways to count. Yet they are all a symbol of Christmas..The ornaments, decorations. traditions, memories, real, fake, small, or tall tree doesn’t matter each one holds beauty in it own light.
Roeshel, ALL of your trees are simply gorgeous. I love all the different styles that you’ve incorporated. I’m lucky to get one tree up and decorated. Maybe I’ll put a fun one upstairs in the game room! You have inspired me! Thanks for hosting a fun Christmas tree contest! Have a blessed Christmas with your family…xoxo

Your trees are gorgeous Roeshel! I love how you have so many styles displayed in your house. Thanks for hosting this contest again this year! Although I am unable to enter, I have enjoyed looking at everyone’s entries! 🙂
Hey Roeshel! I tried & tried to link up but Linky keeps saying I haven’t added a backlink, which I have. Oh well. Enjoyed (and pinned) this post very much! Merry Christmas!
Sorry about that, Colleen! If you’d like to send me the link, I’ll give it a try. The back link is a short link, not the full link. Maybe that’s why? I apologize for the inconvenience!
