Meet: Candace from
I had the pleasure to meet her in person at the Haven Conference. Candace is a former news girl who dabbles in antiques, crafts, paint, and DIY projects. She blogs about life, home, and her love for recycling more than old newspapers.
Project Description: She repurposed Ikea bed slats ( that she scored for FREE) and created kitchen shutters from them! So cool!
You’re the best, Roeshel!!! Thanks for featuring my ‘lil shutters! I am honored. 🙂
That turned out so good, I love the final color and the handles. ~ Lisa
Oh I love these. I will have to copy them sometime in the near future.
Very creative. Definitely has a country feel.
I love how Candace used something seemingly useless by itself and turned it into something beautiful! That’s what DIY is all about! Way to go, girl!!
This is so cute-I love it!!
What a fantastic project! I love unusual window treatments and this one is great!
Those are fantastic and make such a great statement! Love the look and the charm they add. Off to visit and give it some pin luv.
The DIY shutters look so very nice! Its like they have uplifted the feel of the kitchen altogether. The before, during & after photos are very nice aswell 😉
Great job done!
