My Spring DIY plans are spring cleaning. I have yet to get started but my word for Spring is “purge”. The biggest obstacle is time, isn’t it? It’s the perfect excuse to put things off and it weakens the motivation for tackling my to-do list. Today I’m going to share some past Spring DIY while in real life I force myself to just begin the task of cleaning out, filling boxes and bags even if it’s just a corner of a space. Better to start small somewhere than not at all. Enjoy these Spring DIY projects in the meantime…
This spray painted branch was one of the easiest DIY projects ever. Materials: tree branch from the yard and spray paint. Result: a pretty pop of color and a fun centerpiece.
Grab a blank pillow cover and give it a touch of Spring with stencils and paint, glue and pompoms. An easy way to refresh a room!
I scored these rubber boots at Kmart a few years ago. Add some vinyl decals for a little Spring personality. Or fill with flowers! Maybe you have a child who’s outgrown a pair or keep your eyes peeled at the next thrift store stop. The perfect way to infuse “April Showers bring May Flowers” into your wardrobe or decor.
Create a pretty Spring floral arrangement, add some French accents for a SpringTime in Paris vignette.
Yardsale season is nearly here. Keep you eyes open for an old chandelier. Get it prepped for summer blooms now rather than holding off until the last minute.
Barefoot, sandal, flipflop weather will be here before we know it. Time to de-winterize those feet. Pamper your skin with a homemade exfoliating sugar scrub then treat yourself to a pedicure.
Lavender Ylang Ylang Sugar Scrub
Time to work on sprucing up the patio and outdoor areas. Collect some teacups for a cute spin on small planters or bird feeders.
It’s also a good time to think ahead to your herb garden. Mine will be utilized for the 3rd year in a row. I love having fresh herbs within reach.
Hosting a Spring party? Entertaining? Put a little extra thought into the prep work for your celebration.

I love you post!!! It got me inspired!!! I live in Mississippi and we have a lot of thrift stores I want to check out. I love that teal blue you have going on, and that branch as center piece…speechless!!! Thank you for sharing your ideas, they are all lovely.
Beautiful ideas. Even I can do the branch. I have been wanting a chandelier since you posted yours. I even love the color.
