A last minute unplanned blog post but these Valentines turned out so cute, I had to share! Little one has four sweet teachers at daycare and we made up these cute chocolate peppermint hot cocoa Valentines this week with a bottle of chocolate peppermint sauce (so good! Add to hot cocoa, ice-cream or desserts). I’ve included a few affiliate links to the products I purchased/left over supplies from a Love & Romance themed Essential Oil Make & Take Out open house event).
Chocolate Peppermint Awesome-Sauce Recipe
- 2 oz container (I used a squeeze bottle with disc lid)
- organic chocolate syrup
- peppermint Vitality essential oil
Add 2-3 drops of peppermint essential oil to a 2 oz. container. Top off with chocolate syrup and shake to mix.
Add a label. Optional: tuck into a paper cup with a package of instant hot chocolate, candy, gift card, coordinating straw for stirring and shredded paper filler. Embellish with decorate tape and stickers.
Then make up a bottle for yourself!
I only recommend Young Living essential oils. Purchase the premium starter kit using enroller/sponsor #1836762 at youngliving.com for extra gifts from me personally including $25 cash back. Email me at roeshel@gmail.com for more details.
I have a question about Fractionated coconut oil. I have noticed on many sites it says you can use Olive Oil in place of fractionated coconut oil. I did that in the Peppermint Candy cane sugar scrub but it didn’t work because, Olive Oil is green, and very oily, and it took soap to wash it off me. Isn’t all Olive Oil green?
Hi Nickie! I really don’t know. I’ve also heard of others using olive oil but my choices are always: fractionated coconut oil, Young Living’s V6, grape seed, almond or jojoba oil. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.
