The top 10 pinned posts at DIY Show Off in 2013:
8 Backsplash Ideas – this is actually an older post from when I was looking for backsplash ideas for the apartment renovation. Which I’ve never truly shared the reveal. Remind me to do that this year!
DIY custom vinyl decals/gift idea – one part of a two part gift idea in the Très Frugal Series at Pretty Handy Girl.
DIY Photo Backdrop – another oldie but goodie.
DIY Sign Tutorial – a girls’ DIY day!
Dream Tree Challenge – I loved putting together this pretty ombrè tree for the Michael’s Dream Tree Challenge, even if it was in October!
Rust-Oleum Countertop Transformations – a product review and tutorial from the apartment renovation. Going on two years and still holding up!
DIY Pipe Curtain Rod – wow, this was another older project and it shows with the terrible photos (must update posts with better quality photos, huh?). Still love that curtain rod and no sew drop cloth curtains after all this time.
Easter Decorating – just a small round up of Easter/spring decorating ideas in my home.
Summer Home Tour – ahhh! I miss summer! (current wind chill -29 degrees!)
Painted Faucets – After four years, a little touch up was needed.
I have to say I was a bit surprised. Here are some projects that I thought for sure would have ranked higher because they’re my favorite top 10 DIYShowOff projects of 2013. Here they are in no specific order:
DIY Dog Bed – Rescuing Rosie is still one of my BIG personal 2013 highlights. Spoiling her too!
Pallet Herb Garden – I can’t wait to plant this year. Having herbs on hand right outside the kitchen door was a treat!
Chandelier Planter – this year, it’s going to hang under the gazebo!
DIY Foldable Luggage Rack – super handy!
Globe Light Fixture Cover – lots of compliments on this during the real life holiday home tour too.
Family Room Makeover – so nice to finally have this space done!
Framed Monogrammed Mirror with unlimited decorative options – this was a gift but I have plans for making one for my home too!
Barn Patio Transformation – this area is perfect for summer entertaining.
Gazebo Makeover with Recycled Brick Patio – I can’t wait to get it all pretty this spring again! Since we finished it near the end of the season, we didn’t get to enjoy it nearly as much as I wanted to.
Easy Pipe Cleaner Christmas Tree Bell Ornaments – I guess since this was only posted towards the end of December, of course it didn’t see much pin-action. But next year I’m going to make more for sure! Love the velvety look!
How about you? What were your favorite pins?
Rosie’s bed is my all time favorite project of yours….so far! That photo makes me smile every time I see it!
