When I first saw Ang’s girls’ sweet room reveal, I couldn’t wait to help her ‘show off’. It’s crammed full of DIY accents and the result is super fun.
Meet DIY’ers: Ang and Matt from
The walls are soft gray, soft yellow and a fun chevron pattern accent wall. The comforters are $20 Target finds (awesome!) and the headboards are a DIY door project…
An old hand-me-down accent table…
gets a fresh coat of paint and new knobs for a cleaned up look and new purpose between the beds…
Jersey fabric strips from a ruined pair of pants are the perfect shade of gray for a shade makeover…
Coordinating fabric creates a cute bunting and dresses up an old window frame for wall art with a vintage vibe…
This old chest of drawers…
before
gets a new look from one of Ang’s talented friends…
The other side of the room is all DIY too!

I love that almost everything is DIY – it all looks so great together!
Roeshel, thank you so much again. And thanks for all the sweet comments. We are always on a budget, so finding fun, cheap (preferably free) items to makeover is always our go-to strategy. I love sharing our finds with others. Thanks again!!!

That is SUPER cute! When baby E moves up into a toddler room, I’ll have to remember the lovely wall design! I absolutely adore the upcycled dresser!
Just goes to show that a great design and make-over is more about ideas than lots of money and new things.
I’ve always believed this and these pictures are proof of that.
LOVE!!! I am so into chevron right now!

Wow, I’m swooning. 🙂 Love it ALL!
I couldn’t be more obsessed with pennants right now….maybe because I joined a Stampin’ Up club and I use their pennant parade stamps for every card……but I just love the pennants in the frame!
