Hellooooo DIY Friends! I’d like to introduce you to Pattie from
Pattie is a single work from home mom to a beautiful young lady and two fur babies. She loves to decorate {and cook}. She recently gave her laundry room an amazing makeover….like we’re all going to want to crowd in there today and “ooohhhh and aaahhhh”. Take a look:

You’re not going to believe this is the same room but here is the gorgeous AFTER:

Wow! That was a clever move with the shower curtain! I love the gray too! Great post!
I just love you!!!!! I have the same setup with the furnace and the hot water heater and hate the way it detracts from my laundry room. I am doing this change this weekendddddddddddd!!!!! ty
Really great. I’ve used the same trick with the curtain to hide away some stuff in my utility room as well. Not because it’s a work place it’s got to look drab. Excellent use of colours.
GREAT JOB!!! Amazing how much BIGGER this room appears after your remodel. I’m inspired to re-do my laundry room!
Wow, it went from totally depressing to a place that actually makes you want to do laundry (almost makes you want too).
Wow! You’ve been up to all sorts of things at your place and it’s all looking awesome! Nice job. Maybe this will inspire me to get the finishing details done on my laundry room!

Pattie did a great job on her laundry room! It’s a chore most of us hate, but if I had a nice room… nah-I still would hate it!
Love the shower curtain, and the paint.
way to go Pattie!

Beautiful! I had to look twice because at first I wondered if you had enlarged the room. It looks great and must be so much more enjoyable to work in.
Wow looks amazing. I love the dark grey color.
Oh my word – my laundry room (before pic) looks almost exactly the same and I’ve been at a loss as to what to do with it. This is some mayor inspiration – thanks for sharing!
Holly Cow!!! that’s my laundry room… Roeshel thank you so much for featuring me what a surprise this is, I worked so hard on this room (one of my most challenging) Thank you again Have a wonderful weekend….
I love the gray! Now I want to do mine! My laundry room is the room I never want to see. But this gives me hope that mine can look great too!
This is a beautiful transformation but I’d be afraid that curtain would be a fire hazard in front of that hot water heater. I need to improve my laundry room area, but I think I will be replacing my washer and dryer sometime this year. Maybe that would be a good time to do that. If I could get somebody to come and haul the old ones away first and have a few days to repaint everything and install a new tile floor before the new appliances are delivered. I already have one shelf up there, but another one would be nice. This house was built in 1977 and it is screaming with builder sliding doors on all the bedroom closets and laundry room area, that are constantly coming off track. We paid to have some new rollers installed after moving here. Maybe we should have installed a new folding door instead. There goes another project for the handyman!
where did you get the hot and cold pics.
Hi Nan! Please pop over to see Pattie’s original laundry room reveal. She might mention it there or I know she’d point you in the right direction if you ask her. 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by! I love those prints too!
Everything I bought came from Hood Good
I tried to Google Hood Good but had no luck. Can you give me some more info please..

Hi Nan! I’m thinking she meant Home Goods?
Found this through Pinterest, and I love it . . . especially the faucet artwork.
I found prints similar to this on etsy. Here is the link: http://www.etsy.com/listing/89501271/photo-wood-blocks-5-12-x-5-12-vintage
Thanks, Cassidi!
