Pinterest PinFest Linky Party ~ Daydreaming

I updated our HOME TOUR and now I’m taking a little break from showing off to work on some projects with a reward of a daydream today.

The house I “built” using some of my favorite pins:
Entryway.  Welcome.  I hope you’re in lounge clothes. No work today.
Living Room (Yes! The one I designed with Cassity.)
I’d love to move this entire room into our home.
Kitchen. Cup of tea and cookies?
Bedroom. Tomorrow, I’ll blog from here.
Bathroom. Just a sneak peek.
Where I do laundry:
I’d love to be creative in here…
Outdoor Oasis
I have a gift for you…
What I’d love to be wearing as I head to dinner tonight:
How I’m feeling:
What I’m snacking on:
If you’re a dreamer like me, do you want to do this every once in a while with me?  A Pinterest PinFest (or any motivating inspiration post) linky party?   You know how much I love parties and inspiration for my next DIY project. 🙂
Enjoy the day!

Edit:  Looks like I’m not the only daydreamer! I’ve added a linky party below if you’d like to join in.  I’ll work on creating a linky party button and figure out a schedule (maybe monthly?). &nbs
p;Create your Pinterest PinFest DayDream post and link up below.  Include a link back if you’d like to get others daydreaming too!  🙂
Edit x 2.  Here’s the new Pinterest PinFest button.  I think we’ll shoot for the 2nd Tuesday every month. The party will be open for one week, maybe longer if needed.

TIME for the DIY Project Parade

We dressed up the door on our kitchen pots and pans pantry with a clock!

Clock parts are from Rockler and I’m sharing the tutorial over at the DIY Club today.

It was a super easy project and it works so well. I love it – especially with the round Rockler lazy Susan spice wheels/spice loft to the right!

(these numbers are temporary – so they’ll be redone and perfectly spaced)

Do you like it?

What have you been up to?  If you’d like to link YOUR DIY project post to The DIY Show Off Project Parade:

The DIY Show Off

1. You must use the button above (ADD BUTTON HTML CODE FROM SIDE BAR TO YOUR POST) and link to this post to share the linky love.

2.Include your name or blog name and project title. Add your permalink (not your blog url, but your DIY project post url). Feel free to link a Past Post, just invite your readers in a current post with a quick note.

3.Or email your link to thediyshowoff@gmail.com and I will add it for you.

4.If you notice your link has disappeared -please add the link back to The DIY Show Off to your post today, a button or a quick note to your readers about the party and try again! I love when everyone participates and readers check out everyone’s links, but I think the return favor of linking back is the nice thing to do so everyone plays fair and enjoys all of the projects and links. Also – this blog party is for DIY projects only. Links not related to DIY will be deleted.

5.  NOW you can “like” the links!  What a fun idea!  Most liked links may be included in a post of DIY Project Parade highlights later in the week!  🙂

Deck Reveal at My 1929 Charmer

Meet:  Cathy from

My 1929 Charmer

She shares our love of decorating and thrifting and she’s sooooo good at it! (Great sewing and gardening tips too!)
This was Cathy’s deck before:

Cathy waved her DIY magic wand (if only it were that simple!) and this is her deck now:
Unbelievable.  What a beautiful transformation!
See more pictures, details of her thrifty treasures and a cost breakdown at
I imagine I’d spend the rest of the summer days and most of fall relaxing there!
Thanks so much for sharing your amazing deck reveal in the DIY Project Parade, Cathy!  You did a fantastic job!
