My decorations are still packed away. It’s sad. I’m usually all decorated by now but with the dining room and kitchen under construction, decorating not to mention cleaning just isn’t happening quite yet. However, I did make a super easy DIY feather wreath today.
Materials:
Wire wreath form (I got mine at the thrift store)
Ribbon (I used left over scraps along with ripped up strips of a white sheet – only need a few pieces)
Feather boa (Again, I already had this, I love to use it as “snow” to decorate with). I’m not sure how much they are, but with a coupon from JoAnn’s, it should be reasonable.
Instructions:
Using ribbon, tie the feather boa to the wire form.
Fluff. Add bow, ribbon, ornaments. Personalize to match your holiday color scheme.
I told you it was super easy and way more affordable than a feather wreath from the store. What do you think?
Beautiful fall decor at Katie Grace Designs – modify to fit Christmas or winter or bookmark for next year.
And one more really cute DIY holiday project. I love this PB inspired burlap advent calendar (great tutorial) at Spice It Up!

Love the feather wreath in white (I have a black one for Halloween). The white is dreamy!
Great ideas. I have a boa wreath that I made for my wedding a few years back..I actually used a wire hanger that I stretched into a circle and just twisted the boa around it then added tape to hold the ends on the hanger. I think I used 2 boas and it was really full.
Love those fall decorations, will definitely be voting for you.
Wow.. It's awesome!!! Love this decoration!

Wow I LOVE the feather wreath! It looks so easy, and I love how it turned out. I'm sure I have a white feather boa lying around somewhere.. =)
This is beautiful. It reminds me of angels wings. Not that I've ever seen any….! But this is what I imagine them to look like.
