As you know, my girls and I attended the Country Living Magazine Fair in Columbus over the weekend. We had such a fun time! We met so many creative ladies, blog friends and made some new friends.
Bri, Me & Ali
I spent some time getting to know Nadine and Holly from Gorilla Glue, two of the sweetest girls who were busy all weekend promoting Gorilla Glue and the DIY Club. They did a super job! (92 degrees + high winds = mess!)
Holly, Me & Nadine
Sue Whitney from JunkMarket Style was also present in the GG tent, giving demonstrations and signing autographs. Have you seen her new book? One of my very favorites is Junk Beautiful so I made sure to get my copy of the new Junk Beautiful Outdoor Edition. Her talent is amazing, her projects inspiring and her decorating style is stunning.
It was so much fun hanging out with the Gorilla Glue girls and being a part of such a fun event. There were drawings, Gorilla Glue Super Glue samples and DIY Club project tutorials and a project power point presentation.
It was such a busy event! So much to look at, so much to buy, so much to be inspired by. Here is a peek of couple of our favorites:

I‘ll be sharing more photos and more details at the DIY Club soon – I’ll keep you posted. Speaking of the DIY Club – have you stopped over lately? A new e-zine coming and more linky parties to show off your DIY lifestyle!
Thank you to Studio 5 and Cari Stevenson for listing the DIY Show Off as an inspirational source and including my house # flower pots in their video feature!
What a great weekend with friends and finds!!
I have a Giveaway from the French Basketeer I think you will love!

I think there's a problem with some of the pics. There are several repeats and they're all super big!
Looks like you had fun though!
Thanks Amber! Pictures in blogger are such a pain! It looks like they're working on it since uploading had a different window than previously but still – some pictures doesn't "show" when you're writing the blog post and even in the preview and then BAM! There they are in the final post when it's published! lol Drives me crazy!
I fixed it. Thanks for the head's up!
Roeshel- I keep wanting to put a C in your name after the S…so if I do that sometime, please forgive me as I am old and fuzzy-lol
It looks like you gals had a wonderful time! What fun and what eye candy. Those doors…oh! Those doors- to die for! Hugs- Diana
I am loving your photos. So wish I could have gone…what an amazing time. I am still trying to convince my hubby that I need to go to GA! Thanks for the peek into your day!
You are too cute!!!
xo, cass
Those vintage doors are gorgeous! And I love all of the great Halloween decor. Too bad my husband is obsessed with decorating the house for Halloween and he tends to be more on the tacky side. At least it makes our house the funnest house in the naighborhood on Halloween.
Looks like a lot of fun! You girls look so gorgeous in these photos (mess? I think not)! Roeshel, where did you get that super cute dress of yours? I want it!
xo Linda
It was so nice to meet you Roeshel! We met in the gorilla glue tent (I told you I loved your blog and I have a family blog) :O) The fair was great! I haven't had time to do my blog post yet, but my mom and I had a great time! Enjoy the rest of the week!!

Roeshel,
Were you in Columbus, Ohio or Georgia? I'm in Ohio, sounds like a great day.
I saw your answer to Amber about your pictures. I have a website not a blog, but either way pictures are a pain. I Started using slide shows.
I e-mailed you about mercury glass, click the link and you'll see a slide show. Pages with slide shows load faster for visitors too.
Looks like you had fun! Wish I could have joined the adventure! 🙂
This is so random… I live in Cincinnati (where Gorilla Glue is headquartered) and I met Holly last year at a fundraising event called the Cincinnati Scurry. Small world!
I was there, too, since it's just a hop, skip, and a jump away for me! Weren't Julie and Shannon from Gathered Comforts just sweethearts? I met them in person when they were exhibiting at the show in Springfield a few weeks ago, but had been talking to Julie via e-mail. I loved their things and bought a bunch, including the little black chicken feeder in your photo. 🙂
