Pink and all things girly and feminine. That’s just what this nursery is – beautiful with fairy tale details by Meaghen at Musings of a Glamourpuss.
Here is her letter:
“The room was originally crib storage and playroom. Then we found out we were having a baby and she was a girl! We started with builder’s yellow (lol not beige), and I had one piece of inspiration: a vintage looking notecard in light shades of pink, cream, and black lace. I chose two shades of pink, and my hubby and I measured out and traced pencil lines (next time I am using chalk instead) for the thick stripes. I couldn’t find any bedding in the colours I wanted – it was either black and white or pink and brown – so my mom helped make the crib bedding. I designed and hubby built the change table. The little birds on the black shelves were originally blue and I spray painted them black. The lamp on the side table is a work in progress – I have been weaving ribbon in the base, and there are about 25 yards in there so far. We added some glitz and glam with the chrome and crystal chandelier and the cut crystal finials on the curtain rod. I also added the thick black ribbon at the base of the curtains for some additional interest!”
Now, it’s this beautiful nursery:
I am soooo digging those stripes and the framed art. Absolutely fabulous job!!

This nursery is gorgeous!!! Great job. I love the chandelier. That little girl will certainly feel like a princess in that room! Love & blessings from NC!
What a great little girls room. Love it
Oooooh, Love! I went over to Meaghen's site, and I couldn't even find the post on her nursery. But I was wondering, can we find out what the color names are on the pink paint? I love it! They go so well together.
I also love the framed art. I think the crib would be SO fabulous painted black.
LOVE it! LOVE the stripes! LOVE the chandelier! LOVE the canopy! Yeah, I could go on… 😉
What colors of pink did you use? They might be subtle enough that I could talk my hubby into it when we have a girl-baby. 🙂
SUPER PRETTY…..love it.
LOVE it! I find out the sex of my baby in 3 weeks. I love this nursery!
