This kitchen looks decent enough to begin with…
Kitchen Reveal!!!
After
This has been a lot of work.
Here’s what we did and a breakdown of costs.
1. Paint Cabinets & Walls Benjamin Moore – $100 paint and brushes
2. Ikea Black Countertops & Farmhouse Sink – $400
3. Price Pfister Faucet Home Depot – $140
4. Armstrong Vinyl Tile Lowes – $260
5. Tongue and Groove Beadboard Backsplash Home Depot- $60
6. 2 Ikea Chandeliers – $80
For a grand total of $1,020!!!!
We did buy a paint sprayer and compressor to spray that cabinets for $120 but since their are so many uses we’ll have for them I didn’t include it in the total.
Their are still a few small things to do. I will not love it until it has crown molding, a new toaster and coffee maker. But for now its a huge improvement.
WOW! Did you see the farmhouse sink? LOVE it! I know you didn’t miss that gorgeous floor or the beautiful counter tops or those freshly painted cabinets. Boring to so much character! And $1020 budget? Unbelievable! If you have any questions, here is more information on what they did. Great job Janet! Thank you so much for sharing!
love the cabinets and the bead board
Wow, love the black and white! My hubby wants black and white floors, but I think my head would spin. Looks great though!
The redo looks fantastic! So much better than the before. I like it alot more. Love the farmhouse sink too. I would love to have one of those, but I don't think that the hubby would go for that. Maybe his next hunting trip?
OMG, I LOVEEEE that bead board back splash – very creative! Everything looks awesome! Great job. :o)
Wow, love all of it, great transformation!!!!
I love it. That sink is indeed wonderful. I truly love the black cabinet with the checkered floor (and I usually don't like black cabinet…) this is put together really well!
Very beautiful kitchen. Amazing price too!
WOW!! I love it!! What a wonderful transformation!
Now that is worthy of being on the telly, great job!
I just love before and after pics. I try to take them and either remember after I'm finished or am just too embarassed to take the before pics! I wish I had taken pics of my Laundry Room today before I started many hours ago!! Have a great evening!
Quite a difference, its ironic. Your make over was from light to dark and ours is from dark to light.
I guess whatever we have we want to change. :0)
good job
Bob…
Love it! I am getting ready to do MY kitchen! I CAN"T WAIT!!!! I would LOVE to do it under a grand… but with granite involved I don't think that will happen. But I KNOW I will get it under $2000 and just you wait to see the before and after pics, I can't wait 🙂
I think I just SlObBeRd (which is way worse than drooling)! Thanks for sharing such a fabulous DIY. Now to convince my hubby to let me tackle our kitchen, hummm…. ;>
God's blessings,
Sarah 😀
