Happy JUNE! Welcome summer! Time for That DIY Party!
DIYShowOff weekly recap: More progress in the laundry room makeover!
Our laundry room floor is a beautiful black walnut wood look but really porcelain tile installed in a herringbone pattern.
and a bold staggered striped accent wall adds a punch of fun!
Adding DIY vinyl decals to small melamine appetizer plates creates cute junk organizers, ring keepers or accessory holders. Easy small gift idea or party favor. YOU choose your own words, shapes, monograms, fonts or shapes.
Reminder: The annual Earn Your Stripes™ painting contest is taking place right now!!! Grand prize is $5,000.00!! I’d LOVE for a DIYShowOff reader to win! Imagine what you can do with $5000! Since I can’t enter, I hope you will! I’ll be participating in the judging! Enter here: https://promotions.frogtape.

Thanks for having the party! I always look forward to the clever ideas that turn up here.
Hi Roeshel,
Thanks for another great party:)
Have a Happy Day!!
So many clever bloggers, so little time. I stopped and went to make those onion rings from Marty and they are excellent. I also agree with her about the 3/4 lb of ground beef instead of a pound. And have you noticed how they make the packages more than a pound now? At least 1 & 1/4 or more. So I half those for me and yes, it is definitely enough for two. We are supposed to be eating much more veggies anyway, so it sure does work. I have found that washing and cutting up carrots and celery into sticks that I can fit into a saved, cleaned of course left over peanut butter, pickle or such jar works really well for me. And homemade peanut butter……. well it is so very thick that one spoon will keep you working for at least a few minutes.. lol. So put it on the celery, the carrots and even in plain, yogurt salad dressings. The yogurt is plain, NOT the dressings. My food processor died, so I can no longer make peanut butter……. but try it.
Oh I forgot to tell you Roeshel, how gorgeous your laundry room is looking. I also, can barely wait to see the full reveal.
Also I meant to say that the half of the 1 1/4 pack of ground beef makes two meals for four, not for just two people.
thank you for hosting!

That black and white accent wall in your laundry room is killing me!! Love it. Thanks for hosting!
Your laundry floor looks fabulous, I would never have thought it was tiles. I have linked up the progress of my home office and a new chair I just bought. I hope to have the full reveal next week but just in the middle of painting a chair.
Lee 🙂
