Helloooo!
I’m just about a day late with the Project Parade this week and I apologize. Today is my daughter’s birthday. {Happy Birthday, Bri!} Last week, I spent a lot of time cleaning (as in…full blast purging and organzing) as well as running a lot of errands. And today, you’re not going to believe this: I cooked! Stuffed peppers upon request. And I baked. A cake. From scratch. A blue velvet birthday cake with cream cheese frosting. If you’re a long time DIY Show Off fan, you know that Mr. DIY does the cooking around here. But every once in a blue moon, I venture to the grocery store, find the kitchen and actually cook a meal {usually reserved for special occasions}.
I don’t have a problem with cooking or baking but as you can see…it threw me off schedule. Oops!
Last week’s DIY Project Parade was filled with so much DIY inspiration! Here are a few favorites:
Once again,I didn’t have a chance to let these ladies know they were being featured yet…sorry, girls! So, Surprise! Please feel free to grab an “I’m Featured” button to ‘show off’.

See more of last week’s DIY, some free printables, winter mantels, top 2012 project posts and a sprinkling of recipes here.
Hoping to share some DIY this week, but in all seriousness, I’m on a cleaning streak. Home visitation for rescuing a sweet furbaby coming up and it’s as if I’m nesting. Everything must be perfect (we’re talking cleaning out closets, cupboards, etc…crazy, right?!).
