This week, we put in a new toilet, new vanity and today I’ll be back at the apartment working on some plumbing with Mr. DIY along with installing new vanity lighting, a bathroom mirror and finishing up sanding a door in prep for new paint. Tired, yet? It’s all a part of the DIY journey but the reward is well worth the time and effort.

I’m hoping to share our tiling experience from the apartment bathroom this coming week.  And this week, I am finally refinishing the sanded hardwood floors! Woo hoo! You know what that means?! JOYFUL DIY! Once those are dry…the fun decorating, fun small space storage solutions begins! Finally! The rewarding part of the apartment renovation. As usual, there will be a lot of DIY and thrift store shopping. Can’t wait to share with you! Want a sneak peek? Okay, but just in black and white because I want to share  the full room reveal before the tutorials. I do share updates on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram – follow DIYShowOff to stay up-to-date!
