DIY Project Parade and an Uncommon Goods Giveaway

Let the DIY Project Parade begin! UncommonGoods is showing off this week at the DIY Show Off.  They have some fun products including DIY and decorating. Not to mention that Valentine’s Day is right around the corner – there are so many unique gift ideas but warning:  You can’t resist finding something for yourself or your home as well.
Here are a few of my favorites.  Things seriously on my wish list.  Birthday in March.  (hint hint to Mr. DIY if he’s reading!)

They also have some products for the DIY fan…

Made With Memories

We all have them: a concert t-shirt from 10 years ago, a worn-in college sports shirt, the complimentary family reunion t-shirt…and they are all taking up space in the bottom of a dresser drawer. Give your sentimental souvenirs the presentation they deserve with the fun and easy Memory Quilt Kit, which not only puts all your favorite t-shirts to good use as a cozy blanket, but also tells the story of your life in a unique way.

A Shower Of Creativity

Don’t let your shower curtain get caught naked – decorate it yourself!

Ambient Recycling

Recycle your favorite empty glass bottles into a one-of-a-kind lamp with this cool DIY kit. Includes metal lamp frame and lamp base. Fits standard light bulb.

Something else really cool about UncommonGoods:  They specialize in items that are unique, handmade and/or eco-friendly and are always looking to work with new artists and designers. If you have a product or product idea you think they might like, email us at newgoods(at)uncommongoods(dot)com – let them know that the DIY Show Off told ya! 🙂

UncommonGoods is generously donating a $50 gift card for one DIY Show Off reader! Awesome!

How to enter?  1 comment for each for 2 chances to win:

The DIY Project Parade – my stenciled cabinet doors

Remember when we added picture frame molding to the doors on our built-in dining room cabinets? I couldn’t just leave their blank slate alone.

Using Cutting Edge Stencils and Mythic paint, I added some detail.

See what I did at the DIY Club.
