DIY Project Parade

Happy Father’s Day to the dads! I did a little DIY project for my mom’s husband  that I’ll share soon. Most weekends in the summer, we head to mom’s pool and get together. There’s swimming, catching up with family, playing with nieces and nephews, a cook out, volley ball and usually a round of cornhole or two.  And it’s late Sat. as I’m typing this up and still working on the gift (a DIY cornhole score board). I may have procrastinated a little too much but a quick protective clear coat tomorrow morning and it’ll be all done. Project, pictures and tutorial coming soon. 🙂
I miss my dad every day, especially today. I find comfort knowing he is spending every day with Our Father.
Roeshel and dad
and luckily God blessed me with more than one so I have two others to celebrate today as well.
This week I was happy to take a small break from big projects and create a DIY sign for a summer mantel

I’ll catch up with some highlights from last week’s party this week. Have a great day!
Let’s see what you’ve been up to!

DIY Project Parade

I’m back! It’s that time of the week! Time to share your latest do-it-yourself projects!

DIY Show Off
Blog posts were put on hold for a few days. I’ve been really productive the past three days on making my sister’s rental home “pretty” for when she gets here from Florida. They’re on the road right now and will be here later today! Woo hoo! There’s only so much you can do with a cheap rental and teeny tiny budget but I did have the freedom to paint and managed to fit in a few rooms in three days with some decorating. I’ll feel like the hostess of a “not too extreme” home makeover show. “Move that bus!” 🙂 It’ll be nice to have my sister back in town and to see my niece and nephew a lot more too.

Anyway, I’ve got so much to share but I’m so exhausted and sore, I can barely move and the pictures are still on my camera. Once I’m caught up, I can’t wait to show you.

Let’s see what you’ve been up to!
