OOPS! You may have caught my earlier post but I just wasn’t happy with it, so here is an update. My work schedule has been crazy so I’m late participating in Mood Board Monday hosted by Sarah from Pewter and Sage. I’ve been trying to work on it for the past week in my spare time and time got away from me, but the challenge was to decorate with either of these two rugs as inspiration:
1. Andalusia Rug from West Elm
{Exotic pattern from a traditional silk scarf is reinterpreted for the floor in Horizon and Ivory}
2. St. John Striped Indoor/Outdoor Rug from Dash and Albert
Please visit her blog for more details and to check out the other awesome mood boards!
I created a few different boards (my indecision and love for a number of styles gets me in trouble every time) but here is the one I decided I liked best. I chose the West Elm rug and created a cozy guest bedroom (i.e. a place for me to read and hang out on rainy days):

I love seeing everyone’s creative ideas!
Very ambitious! Love the first two and the others are off to a great start. And boy, I really wish I'd thought to use that suzani print chair I love so much! It looks really good on that stripedy rug. Nice job. 🙂
Very nice! It can be hard for me to decide on these too! You found some great chairs for each one though!! I love em!
They are all gorgeous, but I LOVE the first and last one! Awesome jobs!
P.s. thanks for your comment on my mood board 🙂
These are too cute! I would love any of these rooms please ;)!

Tee hee, you are so funny!!! I love that posted all of them…and I do like all of them, or at least where they were headed!!! Thanks for sticking it out:) I love the first farmhouse bedroom with the Andalusia Rug. That Ordinal dresser is awesome!!! And I also really like the Spring Farmhouse Dining Room, great combo of textures and materials there. Oh fine…I'll take any of them!!! Great job, girl…thanks again:)
wow – you did a fantastic job on all your 'boards'..wouldn't it be great to just go ahead and purchase all those elements and set them up..Great Job.
Hey Roeshel! I love the second room with the pink incorporated – what a pretty & unique way to feminize the rug! Awesome work as usual on all of them!
Love the farmhouse bedroom! That chair is too cute.
Sorry I'm so slow getting around to see everyone elses boards…
You are too funny – I did exactly the same thing. I started several boards using each rug and waited to see which developed the best. AND, I had one going using the same GORGEOUS conservatory chair from Anthropologie! Ultimately a different room won me over… These are fun, arent' they. Thanks Sarah for hosting!

I love your ideas for the sitting room! I just found this Mood Board Monday that I must have missed and was so excited because I just ordered the Adalusia rug for my entry.
