With it being a short week, we managed a simple little DIY paint touch up…
This is what it looked like before…
We sanded the peeling paint and with a quick touch up using my favorite Purdy paint brush…it’s looks so much better. Small things make a difference too!

And…just wanted to share that I’m so proud of both of my girls. This week, baby girl graduated from high school. Congratulations, sweetheart! You’ve become a beautiful, smart young woman. Live your best life! I can’t believe how quickly they’ve grown up, how much I miss them being little girls and how quiet it’s going to be at home soon. I might need a big blog group hug…
All of these graduation pictures are hurting my heart…I have my first graduating next year and I can't even think about it! congratulations to your daughter and to mom for getting two sucessfully through the high school years! Thank you for hosting the party Roeshel!

I'm an empty nester. My kids are 28 and 25. I'm not going to lie…it was dreadful at first but I did get used to it. I found I had time for all sorts of things…in addition to working full time. My husband enjoys the fact that I actually do the laundry now…and college kids are a blast. You have so much ahead to look forward to…Happy Sunday and thanks for hosting. ~Ann
Your deck is beautiful! Congrats to your daughter…my kids are only 2 and 3 so I've got a while before I'm an empty nester…although at times I wish I was! LOL
Thanks for hosting!!!
thanks for hosting! Congrats to the grad too! 🙂
My nest is feeling pretty empty these days.

Congratulations Roeshel! My daughter graduated last week too. It's so fun to see them grow into nice adults, but it's also so hard to realize how quickly they grew up!
Have a great day!
Pam
Aw, big hugs to you. I know how you feel. My "baby" is starting drivers ed this summer. Seems like just last summer she was getting her training wheels off her bike! Can't wait to see more of your porch!
Congratulations! And what beautiful girls – all three of you!
My youngest will be a college senior next year. It's tough but they still manage to keep me busy! My oldest just bought his first house a few miles from us and now I have a whole new bunch of projects!
Thanks for hosting!
congrats to your daughter!!! and yes, what beautiful women all of you are!

Thank you for hosting another great party! Love visiting here 😉
Big hug to you! I have one who graduated and just completed her second year of university and my youngest has one more year of high school, so I'm close to being an empty nester. I too can't believe how fast it went and I too miss the little girls they used to be. I wish I could revisit that age sometimes! Sigh!
Hola, chica! Sorry I've been MIA, but I finally did something DIY;) Thanks for hosting!
****web hug**** Congrats on your baby's graduation!!! You look HOT in that pic! I think you'll have enough to keep yourself busy;)
thank you for hosting!

Congrats to your daughter!
Do you think Purdy paint brushes work the best? I was having this discussion with my husband over the weekend. He wanted to splurge on one a few weeks ago, but I wasn't sure if we should because they all get so nasty after we use them a few times anyway.
HI Roeshel
Here is a big hug for you for becoming a soon to be empty nester. I live for Skpye!!! It keeps me in contact. Congratulations to your daughter – you have every reason to be proud of both of them. They are beautiful as is their mom.
I had to smile when I saw your peeling paint in the beginning of this post and thought – "How did she get a photo of my door?" I have to tackle fixing mine soon.
My best- Diane
Hola, chica! Me again:)
Thanks for stopping by! Didn't want you to think I didn't follow the linky rules…I linked up to the original sign reveal as opposed to the tutorial post, so I do have your button at the end of that post:)
Miss ya! Have you been back to D&R at all? Oooh, a sign for your kitchen? Exciting! It will be beautiful! I'm too impatient to look for inspiration pics, I just jumped in and hoped it came out ok. It was fun project though, I want to try some more. (BTW, your new kitchen is AH-MAZING!!! Love, love, love…I missed that whole renovation and just caught some pictures the other day.)
Congrats and have fun with True Value DIY squad again!!!
Congrats Roeshel to your two girls!! And your Deck Day Bash looks like it was FU! LOVE those palm frond wreaths!! GREAT idea – so South Florida – tropical & coastal =)
Missed visiting – Blogger has been giving me issues since it was out last month. Hopefully it's fixed soon.
xo Lynda

Congratulations to your daughter. Our daughter is graduating this year, too. It is bittersweet. So hard to see them growing up and getting ready to leave the nest.
