Today is the 2 year anniversary of the DIY Show Off!

Two years ago today, I wrote my first DIY Show Off blog post and it’s been a happy part of my life ever since! I want to thank you. Thank you for stopping by. Thank you for coming back! Thank you for your support. Thank you for leaving comments and making blogging such a fun experience. I work from home as well so it’s often that I’m checking emails or taking a break from work to see if there’s a comment or feedback. YOU make me smile. You give me confidence and reassurance. You’re so sweet and I cherish our blog friendship. I’m happy to “e-know” you. I love seeing your DIY projects, reading about your lives, your experiences, your family and things that make you happy. I love that your creativity inspires me to blog about our shared DIY passion.
As you know we’re redoing our kitchen (yes…since last fall and hoping to wrap it up here within the month!). I purchased this book and love all of the beautiful ideas…

I've been away because my computer went bust, so have been desperately trying to catch up. There's a reason you've lasted 2 years and will last many more. You are one of the few blogs I've subscribed to and stayed with. Each day is like a new "featured article" for me. I've gotten many wonderful ideas from you and envy your energy and imagination. I have a kitchen that is essentially the same as it was when built in 1947. It definitely needs an infusion of new ideas (and cash flow) ;^)

Thanks for bringing beauty to my cubical filled work day! Dreaming about after work & weekend projects is the best way to get through a long work day!
Right now we are in the process of selling our home.It's strange as we really can't DYI anything ( well I guess we could but there isn't much point)Originally we planned to redo our kitchen, but realized bathrooms need renovation too, flooring too ( don't buy a house with white tile or more correctly white grout- Many many sq. feet of white tile & groute-specially if you have kids & pets & like your knees & back to move without pain)We don't like our yard – This part isn't fixable(at a realistic price anyway) & I don't really like our neibourhood.
I'm so looking forward to a new home – sure it'll have it's own issues , but I hope they'll be fewer than where we are now- Come on and sell house!
I'm a follower!! My next project will be our turntable stand. We have wanted to purchase a vinyl player for so long and we finally did! Vinyls are defiantly making a come-back! So we made a point to go bye a stand, we thought many times about building one but we are not that good at building things. So our first stop was Goodwill, and we found a vintage stand WITH storage for $5.00, we could not believe we found one and it great shape. So that is my next project and I hope I win!! Thank you!!
