It’s not mine again, I promise! Am I tired of looking at bathroom makeovers yet? Never! Keep them coming!
Jen from World of Dennifer has done it again with another beautiful transformation. I love the new color and the amazing job she did. Here is her blog post:
Big master bath reveal!!
Ok, so I know it’s been a WHILE since I posted the sneak peek of the Master Bath. We had a little bit of technical difficulty with the over toilet storage nook we got from Overstock (read: we were missing one of the required parts). Once we finally got the part, it took the hubbs a little while to actually get around to putting it together. Enough about the hold up – it’s FINALLY done…yippie. I know you have all been anxiously the big reveal (or maybe that’s just in my mind?), so here are a few reminders of the before:
It wasn’t bad, it was just plain. I really, really loved my shower curtain, but since we took everything out of the bathroom while we were redoing it, I washed it & guess what? I faded my like $50 shower curtain – FAIL. So I looked around online & finally found one I liked from Kohls. And without further adieu, I give you the afters:
We painted the room in Granite Dust by Valspar & re-painted the trim white, replaced the old faucets, changed the outlet & register covers, changed the knobs on the doors (from brass to brushed nickel), framed the mirror, painted the vanity & added knobs to the cabinet doors, changed the lighting fixture.
Changed out the shower curtain, added a new double towel bar, changed out the robe hook on the back of the door (from brass to silver) & added the inspirational quote art on the wall.
Put up the over toilet storage unit & replaced the toilet paper roll holder.
Isn’t it pretty? Fantastic job as usual Jennifer! Thank you so much for sharing!
Jennifer did a great job! Without a total makeover (as in tearing down walls, etc) she made it fresh and current! Thanks for sharing it.
Verry pretty makeover! The shower curtain is gorgeous and I love the over the toilet storage. Way to make a small space function! Have a great day!
Great Job Jennifer.
I love the clean, crisp black and white colors.

Love it Jennifer!! Do you have any instructions or a tutorial on framing the mirror? This is something I'm DIYing to do in our master bath. Like yours, ours goes all the way to the vanity, so I wasn't sure how to frame it properly. Any tips are much appreciated!
She did do a beautiful job with framing the mirror. Katie – we'll see if Jennifer pops over to answer you with some tips. I know that when I framed my mirror (not a bathroom one though), I found Rhoda's tutorial helpful. Here is the link:

Good luck!

Thanks ladies for all the wonderful comments!
Katie – I used EXACTLY the same tutorial link that Roeshel posted above. But, one thing that I would want to point out: we couldn't find the composite casing for the frame, so we had to get real wood (which buckles in some spots). If you end up having to go with real wood, then I would HIGHLY suggest using Liquid Nails to adhere the frame to the mirror & NOT hot glue. We tried hot glue at first & O-M-G what a mess that was!! And it's harder to re-position the framing with hot glue if you find that you need to once you apply the frame to the mirror. feel free to email me at worldofdennifer (at) gmail (dot) com if you have nay questions as you work on the project. :o)
It looks great ! Was the cabinet hard to paint, did you prime it first ?
I love the black and white. I was looking around my house today to see where I could go black and white.
They did such a good job with this! I like the wall color and the shower curtain. Very clever storage too!
I love it! Very elegant.
