The DIY Show Off sometimes accepts forms of advertising, sponsorship, links and buttons and topics in exchange for compensation in the form of link swaps, cash, discounts and/or product samples on this blog.
As a blog author, I am sometimes compensated as mentioned above to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics or to show how we utilize certain sponsor products in our DIY journeys. Even though we sometimes receive compensation for our posts or advertisements, we always give our honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on those topics or products that we’d normally purchase and use. I will always let you know when we’re in love or over-the-moon about a product we use. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely the bloggers’ own. Advertisements are accepted for goods or services we feel might be of interest to DIY Show Off readers. Some links are affiliate links, meaning we get paid per click or when a reader directed by our site purchases a sponsor product. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.
My tutorials are the methods, steps and personal experiences that have worked for us (and featured bloggers). Proceed with tutorials at your own risk and always test before implementing. Please be responsible by wearing proper safety equipment and techniques when using or operating any products or seeking professional assistance when required and needed. Not every one will have the same results.
We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address email address or telephone number) about your visits to this and other Web sites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. If you would like more information about this practice and to know your choices about not having this information used by these companies, visit http://www.networkadvertising.
Hi There,
I wish you would not have that DIY video automatically load when I try to go to your site. It slows down the loading and also is irritating to hear a video going on which I then have to pause so I can read undisturbed. Just a suggestion to let people decide if they wish to play it or not.

I’m trying to print off a project. Only get advertising. How do I just get project? Wasting a lot of paper and ink. Not happy.
Hi Kristin! I apologize for the inconvenience! At the end of a blog post there is a line of “sharing is caring buttons” (Facebook, Twitter, etc.). The fourth button in (it’s light green) is for “print friendly”. Click that and it’ll open up a new window with the tutorial/pictures only and a “print” button. I hope that helps! If it doesn’t work for you or if you have any questions, please let me know! Thanks so much for stopping by!
