Do you decorate for Halloween? I decorate for fall but for Halloween, I do one fun vignette. Last year I made a “never more” tree using twigs from the yard, an old urn, moss and crows from Michaels…
This year, I moved the vignette to the dining room near my plate display…
Click here to see my tutorial for the framed quotes from Edgar Alan Poe’s The Raven.
Check out my stenciled pumpkin tutorial at the DIY Club.
We already had the other decor. Old books, a black/white print from a thrift shop, candle and mason jar, cake plate and doilies.
What do you think? Not too bad for little effort. 🙂

Hey, hon…got a question…did those ravens/crows come from Dollar Tree, by any chance? If so, did they have the cardboard on the bottom, and how did you remove it so cleanly?
Thanks!

Thanks ladies!
Melanie – I got them last year. I think it was Michael's because I didn't have to take off any cardboard. Sorry I'm no help! No advice but I'd probably tear it off and use a black sharpie to color in the areas where the cardboard stuck? Does that help? lol Good luck!
