2013 GOALS
2012 DIY projects, I couldn’t help but think that the BEST part of 2012 wasn’t my DIY at all. Nope. It was the DIY community, my DIY friends, DIYShowOff readers, my blogging buddies. YOU are the best part of DIY Show Off, YOU are a blessing, the reward and your comments encourage more creativity and motivation to move from one completed project to the next. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’m looking forward to another year of getting to know, making new friends and of course, more do-it-yourself decorating and home improvement.

Do you make new year’s resolutions? I call them “goals”. Here are my thoughts for me starting 2013 off on the right foot:
- time management: Develop a schedule for blogging, projects and life. My current schedule is random and although I’ve adjusted to working from home, I need to create a routine. I’m not spending the right amount of time for each task I’d like to complete, even on a daily basis. Do you have any tips that help keep you on track? I’d love to hear ‘em!
- blogging: Working towards another successful year of doing what I love and being better at it.
- loving: Adjusting to an empty nest means there’s just something missing at home. Our girls are on their own and we lost our doxie 3 years ago. In 2013, we’re opening our hearts and home to a dog. Our rescue application has already been submitted. Just waiting for a match. Can’t wait to share our new fur-bundle of joy with you when the time comes. If you’re a long time DIYShowOff follower, then you know that our doxie, Niski, was a big part of my blogging. I can’t tell you how excited I am to have a canine assistant again.
- hobby: Become a better photographer {practice.practice.practice.}
