Yard sale season! Woo hoo! I attended my first yard sale of the year today. I didn’t come home empty handed. Here are the results of my treasure hunt…
wooden bowl and spoon
little clock
2 mini-convex mirrors
old book (pages for DIY projects)
aluminum pots and plates for planters
beakers and flasks for use as vases
Of course, I could have gotten so much more, but I was good and practiced restraint. Okay. It’s mainly because Wisteria is having an 80% off sale and I found some great bargains there too including…
I need to have a yard sale before I bring home more treasures, if you know what I mean.
Are you excited for yard sales and flea market season? What’d you find?!

Great finds! I'm so happy now that yard sale season is back 🙂 I just posted today about my finds at an estate sale yesterday. http://junkernewbie.blogspot.com/2011/05/thursday-finds.html
I am so excited about garage sale season too! I started last Sat and I am getting up bright and early tomorrow! You got some great finds! I love the beakers! Cool!

Very neat finds! I went out today, too. I only found one thing but I'm going back out tomorrow. I hope I find some neat things!

Great finds!! I linked to you in my recent post….
I'm working on a sliding ladder for my son:-)
I love the idea of using aluminum pots as planters! Can't wait to go to some yards sales again… though last time I made the mistake of bringing my husband. We came home with a new computer chair instead of fun stuff for the house 🙂
Roeshel truly great finds! I too went to a sale today but it was an estate sale, I'll probably never do that again! Way overpriced for dated stuff. I want the grungy stuff for projects like you. Those mirrors will yield something awesome, can't wait to see what you do with it all.
You really scored! Love the wooden bowl…and those little flasks! I am the same way..I have to practice restraint..but I kinda suck at that and usually end up giving in anyway 😉

Love the wooden bowl. The crack on the edge adds so much character. I have one that was my grandmother's that looks very similar… crack and all 🙂
LOVE your finds! I am an estate sale and garage sale junky.
BTW I got my Earthly essentials gift box today!! 🙂
Awesome stuff! I found 2 convex mirrors similar to yours a while back and have been trying to figure out what to do with them. Can't wait to see what you come up with!
REally great finds! Still haven't really gotten started around here with the yard sales yet, but I keep looking in the paper! Take care, Laura
What great finds Roeshel! The pots make great planters. I love that light and those baskets from Wisteria. I wonder if they are on clearance online too?
Wow Roeshel….You hit the jackpot…Those beakers are awesome!
Take care,
Lisa
Oh, great finds! I love that wooden bowl with spoon. You rarely see the set (the spoons seem to disappear). And the little vintage clock is sweet. And the pots are great for planting! Thanks for joining TTF. I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day!
These finds are magic! And now I am off to check out the Wisteria sale! Thanks for the tip! xox!
