DIY Reupholstery

Believe it or not, this is one thing I haven’t done!  I’m always scouring Craig’s List for the perfect first piece to practice on and magically transform but I’m still looking.  However, check out these first time re-upholstery divas!  It inspires me to look a little harder.
Madeline from Newly Nesting and her mom from Style Sisters (and family) made reupholstering this old settee…
into this…
look like so much fun!  Isn’t the after beautiful?  Love the black denim and white wood and all of the pretty details!  Great job, ladies!

Then, B. from Life of an Austin Wife also shares her re-upholstery experience.
These…
are now these beauties…
Wow!  I love the pretty blue and white trellis print with the black arms and legs.  Not to mention that pretty curtain panel, gorgeous chandelier and gray walls.
Thank you SO much ladies for sharing your awesome re-upholstery skills!  I’m off to check Craig’s List one more time!  🙂
