There’s nothing I love more than an easy and pretty DIY project when I want to do something fun and creative in the midst of chaotic projects and DIY Drama. Amen, right? Especially when that project produces a designer home accent.
Kirsten from 6th Street Design School shares this great idea! (Thanks Kirsten!) Here is her post:

I’m in crazy-vote-begging mode for the rest of the week. Honestly, seriously, you all have been amazing. The # of votes is humbling. I appreciate your help and I’m so touched by your big giving hearts and enthusiasm! My sitemeter shows a lot of visitors. (Hi!) ..please, if you’re here and you haven’t already, I’d love it if you could take few seconds to cast a vote for me! I know we have a 1 in 10 chance, but I need your help to make it to #1! Thanks everyone! Please click below to vote:
I love the colors in those. I saw something similar to this on a design website. But, those corner tassles give these an awesome look! TJ Maxx always has big bold napkins. {and usually only two or three, never enough for a full set! lol Perfect, right?}
You really didn't have to beg. I already voted today. 😉
I have those napkins 🙂 and planned to make a pillow out of them…very cute! Your's turned out great.
Off to vote!
beautiful colors! Great job
That's a smart system, that vote counter! I tried to vote twice, and it wouldn't let me! 😉
Love those pilows, hard to believe they were only $8 each! Good job!
Voted! Good luck! I am sure you will win.
My kind of project!! I may have to try that!
RM, you can vote twice but you need to use a different computer. I vote once on my laptop and then once on my desktop. Hmmm, I should get on hubby's laptop and vote a THIRD time!!
Hugs,
Marsha
Those are really beautiful! I love them! I love that they were so inexpensive too. Anthropologie is a great store! I could spend a million dollars in there!
VERY cute pillows! Moving on to the voting… I am voting daily, at work and home for you but I have a question. Why is it that you can vote as many times you want when you are picking the American Idol, but only once for you! What if DIY projects rank right up there to bloggers as singers to others? Just not fair. Ok, I feel better. Hope you win!
I've been voting for you every day!
Great job, love all the color. I've been giving you the votes, I hope you win.
Sandy
What a gorgeous print – Love it!
OK, I just did my daily vote! I'm pulling for you. These pillows are a GREAT IDEA! I currently have a client who is wild about Anthropologie, and I just purchase a BIG GULP expensive chair from there. They have some very cool stuff, but it comes at a high price, so I love this.

I've done this before! It really brightened up the bed. I like the shams behind them, too.

I love the fabric these pillows are made from – so fun and cheerful!
The pillows are bright and beautiful! I keep meaning to make some napkin pillows. Thanks for sharing.
I have another idea too. You know those placemats that have 2 layers. Sort of a lining on the back? Well you cut a small slit at the bottom of the 2 layers, stuff, and sew up by hand. Instant rectangle pillow, and no machine. You can also fold them in half, sew them up on 3 sides, turn right side out and add a strap. Instant purse. Just thought I'd share that.
Kelly
Love the colors and the idea! I'm still voting when I stop by ~ good luck!
Those pillows are amazing! So beautiful, and you can't beat Anthropologie at a Wal-Mart (which I don't shop at, but you get me)price. 😉

I love this fabric! So bright and fun!
I love the tassels, so fun!
I did this with placemats in the summer, because I can't sew.http://blog.billigmeier.org/2009/08/easy-project-diy-pillows.html
