Meeting blog friends is so special sometimes, isn’t it? That’s how I feel about Tricia. She’s a creative genius! She’s sweet, thoughtful and hilarious.
I have been patiently waiting for Tricia from The Boutelle Family Zoo to submit one of her creative projects to show off and finally, she’s sharing something. It’s about time, Tricia!
This project is perfect for summer. Great deal (lucky girl!) and beautiful transformation. I want to know where I can pick up a set for $20. I never seem to have such luck! Here is her blog post:

Before and After Adirondack Chairs
Well folks, they are FINALLY finished, the adirondack chairs, that is.
Let’s do a quick little refresher.
A couple of months ago, hubby and I picked up this fantastic set of adirondack chairs, which included a loveseat and two chairs.
We payed $20.00 for the whole shabang!
Amazing deal, but I can’t just leave something as is, so they had a little work done.
Here we go.

Before
After
Here they are being enjoyed by our littlest monkey.
- set of chairs: $20
- Most gorgeous blue paint ever: $18
- (Winter Surf by Behr on sale at Home Depot)
- I still have 3/4 of a gallon left.
- (So I guess that makes it $4.50 in paint)
- Burlap for pillows: $4
- (Jo-Ann Fabrics w/ 50%off coupon)
- Pillow stuffing: free
- (from a couple of old pillows)
- Having the PERFECT place to sit and enjoy some time in the sun (or shade):
- PRICELESS!
Sorry. Totally cheesy.
I couldn’t resist.
No, so really total cost: $28.50 for the whole deal!
Yay!

Love the chairs! Blue adds such a chic look to them, and the burlap pillows just strengthens that statement – gorgeous!
LOVE that color! The chairs look great.
Hi Roeshel.Thank you so much for the feature! I really am honored to be included. You know how much I love visiting you, and I am humbled to see my project here. Now I must go, as my chairs in the backyard are calling me from my computer screen.
Thanks again, my friend.*Tricia
